Join us to celebrate the Semiquincentennial July 4, 2026.
Schedule for the day:
10 am – Open, free admission. Take the Revolutionary War Walking Tour, visit the church, meander the Burial Ground, learn about the lives of the Revolutionary War patriots buried at Old Swedes.
11 am – Ceremony honoring the 44 patriots buried at Old Swedes – wreath laying, bell ringing. Excerpts from the Declaration of Independence.
One-day-only July 4 Old Swedes National Park stamp card. Refreshments, genealogy information available.

2:50 pm – Old Swedes’ church bell rings out as part of the nationwide bell ringing – 13 times for the 13 colonies!
3 pm – Old Swedes closes for the day.
